Nursery Design Secrets

How to Transition your Baby's Nursery from Winter to Spring in 4 Easy Steps

If there’s one thing for certain, spring calls for a nursery makeover. To welcome in the new season, here’s how to refresh and energise your little one’s room with the most luxurious furniture and décor…
1. FLOWER POWER IS TRENDING
MONNALISA LIVING SMALL CHEST   Blooming buds and flourishing flowers officially mark us out of cosy season. So there’s nothing better to embellish baby’s nursery with for a true spring vibe. Floral prints are big news for spring 2021 – and we’re not complaining. Choose flower themed décor, furniture and fabrics to transform their winter nest into a spring hub. Need some extra storage space for their clothes? Look to the Monnalisa Living Small Chest with its pretty painted roses. Delightful!
2. MIX UP THE NURSERY’S COLOUR PALETTE
ROYAL BLUE COLLECTION SET   Whilst winter conjures up neutral and warm interiors, spring calls for vibrant pops of colour. Think shades that evoke cheerfulness and energy, like yellow, green and coral. That’s not to say you should scrap your original colour scheme though – instead add décor that has a bold, bright theme to it. Additionally, don’t be afraid of metallic colours like gold, silver, copper, rose gold and bronze. These can bring glamour and sparkle to your nursery’s look and feel (and who doesn’t love that?). Ready to try it for yourself this spring? Opt for the Majestic Gold Canopy, which hangs delicately over their cot bed and is designed in gold lace and intricate gold piping.
3. IT’S THE SMALL THINGS
There’s no need to re-do your beautiful nursery this spring – just a subtle refresh will go a long way. Sometimes it’s the little things that can boost and revive a space, which is especially true for baby’s nursery. For example, a simple switch up of décor, rugs and fabric will do the trick. Or you could even dress up your little sweetheart’s cot in the daytime with a sweet pillow, like the Grace Rose Boudoir Pillow, designed in sandy pink and dusty rose.
4. HELLO, ANIMAL FEVER
ANIMALIS MULTI WALLPAPER   This spring, look out for animal themed nursery décor to create a wild, adventurous ambiance. We’re talking anything from bunnies and bees to butterflies and boars. For a safari wallpaper print that’ll spark their imagination every day, you’ll love the Animalis Multi Wallpaper. With hand-painted lions, tigers, zebras and dodos, there’s nothing more enchanting than this to kickstart spring 2021.
