The Saadiyat is a sofa bed built to grow alongside your family. By day, it holds its own in any considered interior; by night, it opens into a proper second bed — for a nanny, a maternity nurse, or a grandparent staying close during the early months.

As the room changes, so does its purpose. The Saadiyat moves from nursery to children’s bedroom to guest space without ever needing to be replaced; one piece, tailored once, living through every stage that follows.

Built on a solid hardwood frame and handcrafted to order in any size, the Saadiyat is upholstered in your choice of premium fabric, with contrast piping available across our full collection — from timeless linens to classic checks and soft velvets. An optional pull-out trundle creates a second sleeping space for a sibling, guest, or live-in nanny, and an organic mattress upgrade is available for both the main bed and trundle.

Clients can also choose between elegant rounded or square arms to achieve the look that best complements their home.

Every Saadiyat comes with two coordinating bolster cushions, and — as with every piece in The Baby Cot Shop collection — is backed by the BCS Aftercare Promise: dedicated, personal support long after the sale.

Fire-treated Fabrics

The Saadiyat Sofa Bed is intended for seating and sleeping purposes only. Always ensure the sofa bed is fully opened and securely locked into position before use, and follow the operating instructions provided.

Children should not use the pull-out mechanism without adult supervision and should not climb, jump or play on the sofa or mattress, as this may result in injury or damage to the furniture.

Position the sofa bed on a level surface and keep the surrounding area clear when opening or closing the bed mechanism. Take care to keep fingers and hands away from moving parts during operation.

To preserve the appearance and longevity of your upholstery, clean spills promptly using products suitable for the fabric selected. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight and excessive heat, which may cause fading over time.

The Saadiyat Sofa Bed is handcrafted for indoor residential use and should only be used in accordance with its intended purpose.

Every BCS product is handcrafted using premium materials and inspected before leaving our workshop to ensure it meets our exacting standards.

Our sofa beds and daybeds are made to order. While our listed prices include fabric, you are welcome to supply your own material (Customer's Own Material) to perfectly suit your interior design scheme. Please ensure all supplied fabric is fire treated.

Your fabric should have a standard width of 137cm and should be 7m long. Also include 2m long fabric for piping.

This applies to plain fabrics only. If you intend to use patterned fabric, please contact our design team for advice before purchasing. As the required metreage will differ based on the pattern repeat, we will need to provide a specific calculation for you.
