This September, we were honoured to present The Baby Cot Shop at the Lux Afrique Jewellery, Watch & Home Expo in Lagos—a three-day celebration of craftsmanship, design, and discerning taste.
Held in the heart of Nigeria’s most vibrant city, the Lux Afrique Expo brought together a curated selection of world-class brands across luxury jewellery, horology, interiors, and lifestyle. It was only fitting that The Baby Cot Shop—synonymous with refined children’s interiors—should take its place among them.
For our founder, Toks Aruoture, the event marked something deeply personal. A British-Nigerian entrepreneur and interior designer, Toks returned to Lagos not only to showcase our collections, but to contribute to a growing conversation around African luxury and design excellence.
As part of the weekend’s programme, Toks joined an insightful panel discussion, offering her perspective on the future of premium interiors across the continent, and how thoughtful design can create meaningful spaces for families from the very start of life.
Our stand welcomed an exceptional audience: private clients, interior designers, property developers, and family offices—all drawn to the brand’s timeless elegance, personalised service, and enduring quality. From our iconic Cadogan Cot Bed to exquisite nursery décor and textiles, each piece told a story of care, heritage, and craftsmanship.
With our recent launch in Harrods and partnership with Lux Afrique Boutique, our presence in Lagos was a natural next step. It reaffirmed what we have always known: that beauty, tradition, and exceptional design transcend borders.
As ever, we are grateful to our clients—both new and longstanding—who continue to trust us with their most cherished spaces.
Because for us, a nursery is more than a room. It’s the beginning of a beautiful story.
