A crib is an ideal first bed. Larger than a Moses basket and designed to stay in one place (beside your bed, in your room), it carries your baby through the first six months, which is exactly as long as sleep experts recommend you keep them close. Every crib in this collection is exquisitely crafted, dressed in OEKO-TEX® certified fabrics, and designed to be as beautiful as it is safe. All of them are built to be the centrepiece of the nursery, not just a functional piece of it. Read our expert guide on how to choose your baby's crib, bassinet or cradle.
Our in-house crib collection features tailored fabrics and softly upholstered detailing, creating a sleeping space that feels intimate, elegant, and reassuringly practical.

A Note From Toks
“I believe a crib should do more than simply provide a place to sleep”
The newborn months are incredibly intimate, with your baby rarely out of sight, and the crib therefore becomes part of almost every moment of the day. It is why our collection is made to create a feeling of closeness, calmness, and reassurance for both baby and parent. When curating this collection, I focused on making pieces that combine practicality with genuine beauty. These pieces will make your home softer, calmer, and prepared for this entirely new chapter of life.

Preparing for your baby’s first six months?
Our Nursery Vision Session is a complimentary 20-minute consultation designed to help you choose the right crib or first sleeping arrangement suitable for your home, lifestyle, and nursery vision.
What is the difference between a crib and a Moses basket?
+
A Moses basket is typically smaller and portable, usually suitable for the first 3 months. A crib is larger, often positioned on a stand with wheels, and can generally be used for up to 6 months. Cribs are especially useful for keeping your baby close during the early months while allowing greater flexibility around the home.
How long can my baby use a crib?
+
Most cribs are suitable from birth until approximately 6 months, depending on your baby’s size, weight, and mobility. Once your baby begins rolling over, pushing up, or sitting unaided, it is usually time to transition into a cot bed.
Are your cribs suitable for moving around the house?
+
Yes. Many of the cribs in this collection are designed with lockable wheels, allowing parents to move the crib easily between rooms while keeping baby close throughout the day. This can be especially helpful during postnatal recovery and the newborn stage.
Are your cribs handcrafted?
+
Yes. Our BCS Collection cribs are handcrafted using carefully selected materials and tailored finishes. Savio Firmino pieces are handcrafted in Italy using traditional artisan methods and decorative detailing associated with Florentine furniture craftsmanship.
What safety standards do your cribs meet?
+
All cribs within our collection are designed in accordance with applicable British and European nursery safety standards, including BS EN 1130:2019 safety requirements for infant cribs and cradles. We prioritise structural integrity, breathable materials, non-toxic finishes, and properly fitted mattresses throughout the collection. All mattresses supplied with our cribs comply with BS EN 16890 safety requirements for children’s mattresses used in cribs, cots, and bedside sleeping products.
Can I customise fabrics and finishes?
+
Selected BCS Collection cribs are available in a variety of fabrics, colours, and finish options. Our team can guide you through available combinations during a consultation at our Chelsea boutique or Harrods concession.
Can I see the cribs in person before ordering?
+
Yes. Selected cribs and bassinets are displayed at our flagship boutique in Chelsea, and at our permanent concession in Harrods, Knightsbridge. Private consultations are available for families seeking guidance on nursery planning and product selection.
