Punkin Patch Interiors are proud to sponsor this year’s Newsroom’s Got Talent event, the charity event collectively organized by the country’s major newsrooms. Every penny raised will go to two fantastic charities, the Leonard Cheshire Disability and Beating Bowel Cancer.
Held on 02 November at the O2, the night consists of a gala dinner and a star studded ‘talent show’ involving teams from the UK and US’ biggest broadcasters ITV, BBC, NBC, CNN, Channel 4, Daybreak, SKY and Al Jazeera all hoping to impress celebrity judges which have included Piers Morgan, Arlene Phillips, Louie Spence and Johnny Vaughan. Last year’s acts included a rock band led by ITV News presenter Mark Austin, rendition of Bonnie Tyler’s classic ‘I Need a Hero’ by Mary Nightingale and an interesting Elvis
compilation by Channel 4 News’ Krishnan Guru-Murthy. Kelly Jackson, PR coordinator said; “We are very excited to be able to give back especially to these particular charities. Many charities have been hard-hit by challenging times and every little certainly helps”
