Do you know what to do if you find your baby choking?
It’s a terrifying thought, but the majority of parents in the UK would not be able to save their baby from choking. The British Red Cross, states that three out of four parents would not be able to save their child. Only 24% of 2,008 adults that were asked this question, said that they have both the skills and the confidence to help.
No parent wants to be in the situation where their baby is choking and they don’t know what to do.
As we all know, despite our best efforts, children are quick to get their hands on small objects and children under two are particularly at risk, especially if they’re teething.
In this 90-minute Workshop, Natasha, an experienced first aid trainer, will teach you what you need to know to keep your child safe.
Join other parents and parents-to-be for a morning tea and cakes while you learn.
We will talk about how to deal the following:
- Asthma Attacks
- Seizures in Babies and Children
- Dealing with an unresponsive baby and child CPR
- Recovery Position
The workshop is very practical, mannequins and other equipment will be used to aid your learning.
